A first- class private cruise to remember with your loved ones.

Traveling on a yacht presents you with benefits on many levels. You choose which kind of yacht matches your style, where to sail, where to dock and when, and who is on board with you. You decide whether you want absolute solitude or to party on the island shore; whether you dine out or under the stars. A skipper, a chef, and a sailor can take care of all the logistics and details that you do not want to bother with on your vacation.  Exclusive comfort, outstanding service and support can add substantial value to your getaway. With the Mediterranean waters at your doorstep, you will have absolutely no concerns other than which side of the island to anchor in for a swim.

A few things you might want to know concerning the island’s nautical world are outlined in the following paragraphs.

Cyprus has five marinas, many bays and safe shelters for boats.

The Limassol Marina is a beautiful destination. As soon as you step onto the marina you will be greeted by Venetian architecture surrounding the waters. You will find plenty of culinary choices that satisfy every palate, and high-end shopping options for every style, along with all the facilities a marina has to offer,(accommodation, spa and fitness clubs, and all kinds of entertainment).

A second marina is situated on the east side of the city called the St. Raphael Marina. It has been an important landmark in the area for a long time now and an official port of entry to Cyprus. Here you can find some of the best restaurants and beaches for swimming, accessible parking spaces and many other facilities you may need. Fine dining options of the five-star hotel St Raphael Resort, and the unique swimming experience at the Panagies beach, add a twist to the dock.

In Ayia Napa, on the south- east coast of the island, you will have the pleasure to dock at the newest marina built in the area.  The Ayia Napa Marina is situated between the most beautiful beaches, Ayia Thekla and Makronissos, both with crystal clear waters and golden sand.  Only a 30-minute drive away from Larnaca International Airport this Marina may be ideal to begin your yachting journey right after setting stepping foot on the island. Once you berth there you are surrounded by state -of- the- art buildings that host high-end coffee shops, beach bars and restaurants, such as the celebrated Riva Beach House.

In Larnaca, on the other hand, the marina is located right in the heart of the city on the most known street  Finikoudes. It is often filled with tourists, and a certain vacation buzz that other cities enjoy only in the summer months.  This city beautifully blends the traditional with the modern, and a certain charm that stands out.

Being the city that hosts the local airport it allows the proximity of just a 15-minute drive between the airport and the marina.

But the Marinas serve merely as a fancy connecting layover between your explorations.  Some of the most amazing jewels of the island are hiding beyond plain view, waiting for you to discover them.

A true connection with nature, can only be found in Akamas, at the northwest side of the island.  A symphony of wildlife and an absolute sanctuary. Sailing on its almost-electric-blue waters while smelling the alluring aroma of Cyprus pine trees can be an experience that stays with you forever.  The infamous Mediterranean monk seals make an appearance at times for a playful exchange before hiding back into their caves. The legendary Blue Lagoon cannot be omitted from your list as you sail farther north, each of its secluded little bay is as unique as every shell you will find hidden in the sand.

As we change directions on the map, between the coastal towns of Larnaca and Limassol, lies an enchanting fishing village, by the name of Zygi. A small village with an ancient character, where charming old stone buildings rise low, dating back to the times of ancient trade routes. It is known to the locals for its many seaside restaurants, and fish taverns that guarantee stunning views which combine sea and mountain all at once.

Last but not least, the Port of Paphos, with a magnificent view of the Medieval Castle is another official choice of entry, operated by the Cyprus Port Authorities.  It is no coincidence that Paphos, being the birthplace of Aphrodite, the goddess of love, is said to have the most spectacular sunset on the island.  At dusk, when the sun dives into the dark blue waters, with a majestic dance symphony of colors, you are filled with divine bliss and a yearning for eternity.

A few tips to keep in mind:

  • The Harbors - Depending on the weather conditions, you can find friendly harbors in the rocky waters of Pomos, Aphrodite's Beach, the crystal waters of the Blue Lagoon, Geranissos, Lara Beach (apart from turtle season), Coral Bay, Timi, Pissouri, and Avdimou.

  • The Beaches - The bright blue waters and ivory beaches are on the east coast. The beaches of Ayia Napa and Protaras are the most popular on the island. The south coast of Cyprus is equally captivating, with a long coastline and sandy beaches full of excellent facilities and clean waters which have been awarded with the Blue Flag.

  • The Weather – The weather is ideal throughout the year, especially in the summer when it’s not too windy. A calm sea breeze blows from the west mainly in the afternoon and tends to decrease after sunset. In the summer, there is often sea fog in the early morning, which can reduce visibility to less than a mile. It usually disappears before noon.
